Introduction

Allard’s roots in the technical documentation business date back to 1958. Over the years, our company has become a leader in the field. Our wealth of experience in producing manuals and other documents for military and commercial applications is a valuable asset to our client companies. Many of our client companies rely exclusively on Allard for their technical documentation needs. 

Company History

Our company was established in 1978 as an engineering services company working with the oil and gas industry. Shortly afterwards, Allard began working with Texas Instruments providing production support for their government proposal efforts. Our exceptional performance led TI to request that Allard do turnkey production of technical manuals. These initial technical manual projects led to a long-term relationship with TI, and eventually led to contracts directly with the U.S. Army Missile Command.

In the early 1990s, Allard was awarded a series of three sole-source contracts to provide documentation services for the Missile Command. More recently, Allard has been the primary supplier of documentation services for Rockwell Collins Government Systems, and has continued to work with many military and commercial client companies. 

Epperson Publications was founded in 1958 by John Epperson. Epperson Publications and Allard provided very similar services to their customers, including all branches of the U.S. military. In late 2003, circumstances brought the two companies together. The synergy of a combined effort was inescapable, and in September of 2003, Allard acquired all the assets of Epperson Publications, merging the two staffs into a single operation. The combined experience of the two companies covers a vast array of equipment, applications, and technologies.
